HMI is the abbreviation of Human Machine Interface, that is, "human-machine interface", also known as human-machine interface. To effectively control equipment and make decisions based on machine feedback, people use a human machine interface (HMI). An HMI can be a simple display mounted directly on a machine for factory automation, or a multi-touch display panel that controls an entire production line.
The composition of HMI human machine interface
HMI products are composed of hardware and software, the hardware part includes processor, display unit, input unit, communication interface, data storage unit, etc. The performance of the processor determines the performance of HMI products, which is the core unit of HMI.
Depending on the product grade of the HMI, the processor can be selected with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit processors respectively. HMI software is generally divided into two parts, that is, the system software running in HMI hardware and the screen configuration software running in PC Windows operating system. The user must first use the HMI's picture configuration software to make "engineering files", and then download the prepared "engineering files" to the HMI processor through the serial communication interface of the PC and the HMI product.
